Resettlement Cities, a pioneer project of its kind aimed at resettling over 5,000 IDPs’in Nigeria. The project exemplifies one of the key elements that make up the mandate of the NCFRMI with the premise to restore normalcy to the livelihoods of Internally Displaced Persons and Returnees through resettlement and reintegration. The implementation of the project has commenced in Borno State and Katsina State where the Governors, H.E Babagana Umara Zulum and H.E Aminu Bello Masari allocated adequate lands for the development of hundreds of housing units to cater for hundreds of households. Furthermore, the Resettlement Cities will come equipped with state-of-the-art facilities such as skill acquisition and training centres, health care centres, schools that will benefit a sizable number of individuals. Personally spearheading the project, The Honourable Federal Commissioner Sen.
