Round-table side event on corruption, migration  & bridging Africa’s infrastructure gap at the  United Nations General Assembly

The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) in collaboration with the Civil Society Legislative Advocacy Centre (CISLAC) organized a sideline event of the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA73) on the role of Migration in the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s). The Honourable Federal Commissioner, NCFRMI, Sadiya Umar Farouq accompanied by the Assistant Director, Refugees and Migration, Charles Anaelo Nwanelo represented the Commission at the event.


Again, the Hon. Federal Commissioner, NCFRMI and her team participated in the high level side event on Corruption, Migration and Bridging Africa’s infrastructure gap also on the sidelines of UNGA73. Mr. President, Muhammadu Buhari made a special presentation and was honoured with a citation acknowledging his achievements, read by Diana Campbell, who represented Senator Turner of New Jersey.
