At the Sixty-third session of the United Nations General Assembly held on the 11th December 2008, a land mark decision was taken to designate the 19th August as World Humanitarian Day dedicated to humanitarian workers worldwide, as well as to increase public understanding of humanitarian activities. The day aims to honor humanitarian workers who have lost their lives or injured in the course of their work, and to acknowledge the ongoing work of humanitarian staff around the world 

The National Commission for Refugees, Migrants and Internally Displaced Persons (NCFRMI) and partners invite you to  join the 2018 World Huanitarian Day celebration in Abuja, FCT.
