NCFRMI Commissions Adult Education and ICT Training Center at Durumi IDP Camp

The Honourable Federal Commissioner for Refugees, Migrants, and Internally Displaced Persons, Hon. Tijjani Aliyu Ahmed, has commissioned a state-of-the-art Adult Education and ICT Training Center for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at Durumi IDP Camp, Abuja.

The facility, facilitated by The Brand Life Vision Foundation in collaboration with the NCFRMI, is designed to equip displaced persons with essential digital and literacy skills to enhance their socio-economic prospects. The center is equipped with numerous desktop computers and operates on solar power, ensuring uninterrupted learning opportunities for beneficiaries.

Speaking at the commissioning, Hon. Tijjani Aliyu Ahmed emphasized the Commission’s commitment to inclusive education and socio-economic integration for Persons of Concern. He noted that the initiative aligns with NCFRMI’s broader mission to empower displaced communities through education, skills acquisition, and sustainable livelihood programs.
